CU Cultural Arts Center tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s got history, vibe, and a little bit of everything? The CU Cultural Arts Center Mainstage in Silver Spring is totally that place. This isn’t just any theater, it’s where big moments have taken shape over the years. Back in 2011, they hosted a regional music festival featuring some seriously talented classical musicians, like members of the Baltimore Symphony, I think. Then in 2019, they kicked off their first comedy festival, bringing in stand-up comics who had the crowd laughing so hard they probably forgot where they were. Oh, and let’s not forget the 2013 multimedia opera, which was a wild mix of visuals and singers that totally pushed the envelope. Honestly, it’s kind of a hidden gem for anyone wanting to catch an eclectic mix of performances, from high art to hilarious improv. Want to snag a last-minute ticket? No worries, their interactive seating chart updates all the time, so you can find a perfect spot whether you’re eyeing front row with Pilobolus or just looking for a budget seat to Danu. Seriously, this place has something for everyone, and it’s worth a visit just to soak in that artsy, lively vibe.
